Patty Thibodeaux, 92, of Vinton, Louisiana, passed away on November 23, 2020 in the home of her wonderful caregiver, Barbara Johnson.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 30, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Paul Zoch.
Born in River Falls, Wisconsin, on July 27, 1928, she was the daughter of Stanley Hall, Sr. and Bina (Leslie) Hall. At the age of 15 the Hall family moved to Orange. Patty worked at Western Auto and the former Gibson store on McArthur Drive where she later retired. She was a longtime member of the Lutheran Faith attending the Trinity Lutheran Church in Orange and later The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bridge City. She was a devout Christian and read her Bible daily, which was evident by her tattered and torn Bible she had when she passed on. Patty was very proud of being a member of the Lutcher Stark High Bengal guards during her school days. She loved playing cards and dominos with friends and family and was always willing to go along with anyone to have fun. Patty left an impact on many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Dalton Wray “Boley” Thibodeaux; parents, Stanley and Bina Hall; sister, Ellen Hall-DeShazo; and brother, John “Jackie” Hall.
She is survived by her siblings, Audre Hall- Miller of Neenah, Wisconsin and Stanley “Tunky” C. Hall, Jr. and wife Martha of Orange; and numerous nieces and nephews from Texas, Louisiana, Wisconsin, to South Carolina whom she loved dearly.
The family would like to thank Texas Total Care Hospice for their care and compassion during her last days. Also, a special thanks to her loving caregivers Barbara, Amanda, and Ginger.
