I grew up in Orange living on Ridgemont Dr, next door to Patsy & her first husband, Carl Selman. Patsy & Carl were 2 wonderful people. I remember the day Carl passed away & when she remarried to Ronnie Reese. I was saddened to learn of Ronnie’s passing & more so with Patsy’s death. I know both my parents met her in Heaven. They thought a lot of Patsy. Prayers for her sons, Dean & Wynn.

I am saddened to hear the news about Patsy. She was a true inspiration to many. I met Ronnie and Patsy when my family and I began attending Old First Orange Baptist Church when I was in high school in the late 90’s. They would always cut out my sports articles when I made the paper for athletics and give them to me. They took an active interest in me and my accomplishments. They were a great support system and Christian role models for anyone. When I graduated from college, I desired a career in public service. They were the first non family reference I put down. The day before I got my first job, they whispered to me “we got the call , good luck on your new job, you will do great.” All of these years later, I find myself still working in public service employed at the federal law enforcement level. I remember and pay tribute to Patsy and Ronnie who spoke highly of me to help me get that first job. My prayers are for their family with extra prayers for Wynn, who I have always looked up to, and special thoughts for his son Colton who I hear is a wonderful human being like his mother, Suze , and his father. It’s tough to lose a parent and a grandparent. I have lost both. God and Christ are always with you. Continued prayers for your emotional journey.
