Paul Lowell Boudreaux, 91, of Orange, Texas, passed away on January 27, 2016, in Orange.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2016, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 5:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas on February 17, 1924, he was the son of Arthur Louis Boudreaux and Mathilde (Hotard) Boudreaux. Mr. Boudreaux was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Pacific Theater, and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a retired foreman for Gulf State Utility Company after 38 years and was a 39 year founding member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed by all who loved him.

Mr. Boudreaux is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Florence “Cootie” Boudreaux.

He is survived by his son, Lowell Boudreaux of Galveston; three grandchildren, Reagan Alexis Boudreaux, Madison Lee Boudreaux, and Landon Ryan Boudreaux all of Mauriceville; and two sisters, Alexine Adams of Orange and Carmel Norton of Baytown.

He is also survived by his extended family which included many admiring nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Saunders, Bill Adams, Raymond Saunders, Mike Norton, Alan Moon and Quincy Simmons.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Jack Barbee.
