Paul Anthony Klein, Sr., 72, of Orange, passed away on March 29, 2018.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2018, at Forest Park East Cemetery in League City, Texas.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, on April 11, 1945, he was the son of Frances Lucille (Wildenthal) Klein and James Klein. Paul was a master gardener who also enjoyed woodworking. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and was the Assistant Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus in Crocket, Texas. Paul’s main hobby and the one that brought him the most joy, was his family, whom he loved more than anything. He will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Donna Klein; brother, Terry Klein; and beloved dog, Peanut.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara Klein; children, Deborah Lee Trnka and husband Greg of Haymarket, Virginia, Paul Jr., Elizabeth and Muffin Klein of Mauriceville; grandchildren, Rebecca Bryant and husband Jonathan Hughes of Orangefield, Samantha Johnson and husband Zack of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, Robert Keegan Trnka of Haymarket, Virginia, Whitney Lee-Ann LeGrand and husband Tyler of Ft. Hood; great-grandchildren, Madison Taylor Hughes, Jaxson Wade Hughes, Aubree Elizabeth Hughes, and Cayden- Ty LeGrand; brothers, Ken Klein and wife Sue of Austin, Jimmy Klein, and Bobby Klein.
