Mildred Pauline Farrar, 100, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on October 22, 2023, in Beaumont, Texas.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. Officiating will be Henry Smith. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas.
Visitation will be from 1:00pm, Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.
Born in Ardmore, OK, on December 3, 1922, she was the daughter of Edward Allen Jones and Julia Evelyn Jones. Pauline had a love for the outdoors, she traveled all over going to different national parks and almost all 50 states. Her favorite place was the deer lease in West Texas. She was a very good cook most known for her dressing and chocolate pies. Her favorite time of the year was the holidays when she could spend time with her family.Pauline was a compassionate mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Allen Jones and Julia Evelyn Jones; her husband, Rheubin Farrar Sr.; her sons, Rheubin Farrar Jr., and George Farrar; her brother, Charles Jones; and her sister, Nedeene Harris.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Farrar and husband Mike Sheffield; her daughter in law, Karen McCarthy; her grandchildren, Eric Hall and wife Stephanie, Shawn Hall and wife Miranda, Michelle Byrd and husband Lee, Tate Farrar and wife Heather, Aaron Farrar, Bryan Farrar and wife Codie, and Katie Sheffield; her great grandchildren, Tara Belden, Cody Hall, Kyle Hall, Ethan Hall, Sarah Hall, Zyla Farrar, Emerson Farrar, Caleb Farrar, Anabelle Simon, and Adaline Farrar; her great-great grandchildren, Keaton Hall and Charlotte Belden; and her special friends, Pamela Corbin Barry, Janet Stanfield, and Nancy Pattie.
Serving as pallbearers will be Shawn Hall, Tate Farrar, Aaron Farrar, Bryan Farrar, and Lee Byrd.
