Pauline Busher Cordova, 81, of Orange passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Mid-Jefferson Hospital in Port Arthur.
Gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Funeral Services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Zwolle, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Old Spanish Mission of Grady Hill Cemetery in Zwolle, Louisiana.
Born in Zwolle, Louisiana, on September 6, 1931, Pauline was the daughter of Sam L. Busher, Sr. and Pearl Torres English. Pauline was known as "Momma" to a lot of people and she made quilts for her family. She was the best mother, grandmother and great-grandmother anyone could ever ask for.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert James Cordova; and brothers, Sam and Johnny Busher.
Pauline is survived by her children and their spouses, Patricia and Paul Clark of Conroe, Michael and Debby Cordova of Orange, Paulette and Don Thomas of Orange, Sandra and Wayne Courville of Cashion, Oklahoma and John and Josie Cordova of Mauriceville. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and families; and also her step-father, Tom English of Jennings, Louisiana.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Kevin Cordova, Kelly Joe Cordova, Brian Clark, Jeff Clark, Logan Lewis, Justin Cordova, Luke Cordova and Nathan Courville. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Cooksey, Haiden Clark, Will Brookey, Coy Cooksey and Ben Orta.
