Pearl Viola “Cruse” Jefferson, 91, of Beaumont, passed away on October 28, 2018, in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Sunday, November 4, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins in Beaumont. Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Beaumont.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm-8:00pm, Saturday at Claybar Kelley-Watkins in Beaumont.
Born in Orange, Texas, on July 7, 1927, she was the daughter of Allison and Louise (Sedotel) Cruse. She was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 30 years. Pearl was a member of the Southwestern Pioneers Club and an avid watcher of MSNBC. She enjoyed talking on the phone and getting her hair done. One of her biggest passions was grocery shopping for family. She loved her family immensely and cherished every moment they were able to spend together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allison and Louise Cruse; her loving husband of over 50 years, Frank; and her siblings, Mona, Alton, Nell, Ruth, Betty and George.
She is survived by her daughters, Gail Vongrugthai and husband, Tom of Beaumont and Cacey Bush and husband, Ron of Porter; grandchildren, Chris and wife, Phuong Vongrugthai, Jason and wife, Tina Vongrugthai, Brittany Bush and Emily Bush; great-grandchildren, Kevin Vongrugthai, Lily Vongrugthai and Auri Vongrugthai; and her loving nieces and nephews.
