Pedro Lucio, 62, of Orange, Texas, passed away on December 21, 2018, in Beaumont, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 28, 2018, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange. Officiating will be Father Sinclair Oubre. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Born in Guanajuato, Mexico, on March 14, 1956, he was the son of Juan Lucio and Hermenia (Bernal) Lucio. Pedro worked as a fence builder for U. S. Fence and Gate for over 18 years, and was known as a very hard worker. He was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Pedro will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by parents, Juan and Hermenia Lucio; his daughter, Donna Lucio; and his brother, Marco Antonio Lucio.
He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Maria Lucio; his children, Francelia McKnight and husband Kevin, Maricela Lucio, Ana Lucio, and Miguel Lucio; his grandchild, Carley Gabriela McKnight; and his siblings, Juan Lucio, Rosario Lucio and wife June, Soccorro Valdez and husband Francisco, Pilar Lucio, Maximo Lucio and wife Alejandrina, Castro Lucio and wife Esther, Enedina Lucio, and Martina Aguilar and husband Ramon.
Serving as pallbearers will be Gabriel Ibarra, Bonifacio Ibarra, Pedro Ibarra, Rogelio Aguińaga, Juan Lucio, and Rosario Lucio.
