Peggy Gunter, 61, of Vidor was born December 27, 1954 in Kountze, Texas to William Brian Waters and Beulah Viola (Gould) Waters and passed away March 1, 2016 at Harbor House Hospice in Beaumont. She was a lifelong resident of Southeast Texas and was a retired office manager with Beaumont Occupational Services.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Robert Gunter of Vidor; two daughters, Amy Seal of Buna and Brandy Kendall of Vidor; one son, Robert Gunter, Jr. of Vidor; two brothers, Brian Waters and Mike Waters; two sisters, Karen White and Lorry Waters; and her special canine friend and faithful companion, Peanut.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00a.m. on Saturday March 5, 2016, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints: 905 Shady Ln., Jasper, TX.
