Obituary
Peggy Joyce Weeks Caraway, 77, of Orange, passed away on January 10, 2022, in Orange.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 17, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Randy Allmon. Burial will follow at Autumn Oak Memorial Park in Orange.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Center, Texas, on August 25, 1944, she was the daughter of Daniel Weeks and Hazel (Coe) Weeks. Peggy worked as an LVN for several years and enjoyed everyday she was able to make a difference in someones life. She faithfully served her Lord and Savior at Community Christian Church in Orange, and also worked in the Daycare at the church. Peggy adored her daycare children and loved teaching them about God. The light of her life was her great-grandson, Caiden, they were the best of buddies. Peggy was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Hazel Weeks; daughter, Tammy Blessitt Robins; and brother Garland Weeks.
She is survived by her loving husband, Burl C. Caraway; daughter, Kim Goslin of Orange; step-children, Brian Caraway, Stephanie Compton and Robyn Blackmon; grandchild, John Derek Goslin; several step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Caiden Goslin, Gabriel Goslin and Zoey Goslin; and brother, Jimmy Weeks.
