graduated from NISH in 1978. Phyllis embraced life with an unparalleled enthusiasm, always finding joy in the simplest of things. She had a special place in her heart for her online community, where she formed lasting friendships and shared countless cherished memories. When it came to hobbies and interests, Phyllis had a true love for music and dancing. Even during exercise sessions, she would put on her favorite tunes and dance like nobody was watching. Another activity that brought Phyllis great pleasure was playing pool. She skillfully maneuvered the pool cue with confidence, creating thrilling moments filled with friendly competition. It brought her solace, hope, and a sense of purpose. Her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and warm embrace will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was my diamond! I don't know what I would have done so many times in my life if I hadn't had my best friend, Phyllis. She was truly one of the great riches in my life. No matter what changed for me: jobs, cities, husband's or circumstances, she was a constant, always there. She always brought out the best in me! It was a privilege to be her best friend in this world and I can only hope to see her in the next. I will miss her smile and laughter. She will always be in my heart.
My deepest sympathy to Ray and all of her family who she loved so fiercely!
