Born on July 17,1951 in a humble little town named Tula in the great state of Puebla, the son of Consepción and Candido Lezama. He decided to live the American Dream along side his loving wife Asunción Lezama and 4 children at the time. Became a proud Texan and soon grew to a family of 7 children, Ana Bahena, Evelia Guerrero, Yaneth Lezama-Hernandez, Hugo Lezama, Candido Lezama, Oscar Lezama, Alexis Lezama and also had 13 grandchildren.
Pompilio was the hardest working man you’d ever come across, yet most humble human being. Being a Father, Grandfather, Father-in-Law, Brother, Uncle, Husband was his biggest joy in life. Often visited Mexico, to pay his respects and build the home of his dreams. Very good at giving nicknames, almost everyone of his grandkids was blessed to be given a nickname, always united the family under the beautiful magnolia tree. Enjoyed spending time with his family, whether it was spending time outside under the tree, fishing with his sons, pulling his daughters out to dance when music was playing, taking his grandkids for a walk to the corner store for some chips, hunting along side his grandchild, son, son-in-law, brothers gained through friendship. He was certain to live and enjoy everyday like his last. Giving wisdom and beautiful sayings that will always be kept in our heart. He was able to witness his three generations, and the more he will see from heaven. Protector of his family, we gained a beautiful Guardian Angel who will now forever be with us through our hearts and we will let his memory last generations.
