Rachel Marie Curry

Rachel Marie Curry, 52, of Orange, Texas, passed away on June 11, 2024, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. 

Born in Victoria, Texas, on July 30, 1971, she was the daughter of Joe Aleman, Jr. and Sandra (Baros) Ross. Rachel was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She was known her warm and caring nature, always ready to lend a helping hand no matter what. Rachel cherished her family dearly and made it a tradition to have family dinners every Sunday. She found joy in spending quality time with her loved ones and treasured moments with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her "MoMo". In addition to her role as a dedicated woman, Rachel had a passion for the outdoors. She loved going fishing and being surrounded by nature. Rachel will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with all those around her.

Rachel is survived by her loving husband, Stuart Curry; her father, Joe Aleman, Jr.; her mother, Sandra Ross and husband, George; her daughters, Rendi Arriaga, and Heather Hutson; her sons, Jose Arriaga, and Troy Curry and wife, Kayla; sister, Cindy Bueno and husband Bernie; as well as several grandchildren whom she adored deeply.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
