Randy Kay Bornette, 55, of Orange, Texas, passed away on November 4, 2018, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018, at First United Pentecostal Church in Orange with Reverend Gary Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow the service at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange, Texas.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at First United Pentecostal Church in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas on March 22, 1963, he was the son of O’Neil Bornette and Betty Taylor. He worked as an Electrician and Instrumentation Technician for Honeywell in Orange. Randy was a very sweet, laid back, quiet, loving man, always willing to help family and friends. He was a hard worker and a jack of all trades, as well as being a wonderful cook. Family was his world and he loved spending time with them and cooking on Sundays. He loved his children, his wife’s children, and his grandchildren dearly. Randy enjoyed going camping, hunting, and fishing. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, O’Neil and Betty Bornette; and his brothers, Rodney Bornette and Dean Bornette.
He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Linda Bornette; children, Justin Bornette and wife Aleisha, of Buna, Laci Granger and husband Calvin, of Orange, Ashley Gray and husband Aaron, of Orange, Charlotte Nepveux and Chris Menard, of West Orange, Hilary Ramirez and husband Aaron, of Round Rock, Fred Nepveux, Jr. and wife Miranda, of Port Arthur, and Daniel Verrett and Lacey Monceaux, of Round Rock; grandchildren, Emersyn and Drex Bornette, Cylan, Lakynn, and Colsyn Granger, Trista and Wyatt Gray, Isaac, Isaiah, and Norah Sipes, and Freddy, III and Michael Nepveux; and his sisters, Dana Johnson and husband Bryan, of Lafayette, LA and Donna Bunker and husband John, of Woodville.
Serving as pallbearers will be Calvin Granger, Jr., Dustin Williams, Freddie Nepveux, Daniel Verrett, Corey Johnson, and Casey Bunker. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Bornette, Cylan Granger, Phillip Williams, Isaac Sipes, and Isaiah Sipes.
