Randy James Cormier, 63, of Starks, Louisiana, passed away on October 27, 2019, at his home surrounded by loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas. Officiating will be Deacon Melvin Payne, of St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on February 20, 1956, he was the son of Horace and Marie Cormier. Randy was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange. He graduated from, West Orange High School and went on to work as a Safety Coordinator for many different companies over the years. Randy loved sports and was a big fan of the Houston Astros and the Dallas Cowboys. He liked to spend his spare time travelling with his wife, camping, playing golf, and living at the beach in Corpus Christi. Whether Randy was spending time with his grandchildren or partying with his friends, he enjoyed having a good time and being with others. He loved his family and friends dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Horace Cormier; and his brother, Charles Cormier.
Randy is survived by his loving wife of 25, Yvonne “Tiny” Cormier; mother, Marie Caillier Cormier; daughters, Michele Wilkerson and husband Trey, and Shara Cormier; step-children, Mike and Jacki Pierce and Stacy and Joe Wolf; grandchildren, Annabeth Wilkerson, Ryan Wilkerson, and Mikayla Brown; sister, Barbara Becker, of Starks; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and other loving family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Clint Landry, Ray Pousson, Paul Richardson, Jerry Caillier, Jackie Caillier, and Johnny Caillier. Honorary pallbearers are Ralph Caillier and Michael Anthony Wolf.
