Randy Bob Romero, 49, resident of Bridge City, Texas since 1976, passed away on May 15, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Murray Dean. Burial will follow the service at Head of the Hollow in Johnsons Bayou, Louisiana.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Orange, Texas, on July 4, 1968, he was the son of Allen R. Romero and Lovinia Faye (Duplechain) Romero. Randy was self-employed and served his country in the United States Army. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lovinia Faye Duplechain Romero; grandparents, Verney and Velma Duplechain, Paul and Ruth Romero; uncles, David Romero, Robert Romero; and aunt, Catherine Romero.
Randy is survived by his father, Allen Romero and wife Dean, of Bridge City; sons, Garrett Romero, of Beaumont, Brandon Romero, of Dallas, and Grant Romero, of Dallas; step-son, Brian Robbins; brothers, Bret Romero, of Bridge City and Cory Romero, of Beaumont; step-brothers, Rod Langlinais, of Arp, and Chad Bourque, of Tyler; his step-sisters, Gwen Caswell, of Bridge City and Lisa Caswell, of Orangefield; nieces, Lindsey Gill and husband Steven and their children, Bryan and Zack, of Nederland, Stormi Sims and daughters Kenzi Trahan and Chloe Sims, of Nederland; nephews, Shane Romero and wife Sarah and their children, Rylan and Easton Romero, of Fannett and Colton Romero, of Fannett; uncles, Howard Romero and wife Frances, of Johnsons Bayou, LA and Rogerest Romero and wife Ouita, of Johnsons Bayou, LA; aunts, Brenda Romero Sanders, of Carlyss, LA and Tammy Romero, of Carlyss, LA; and numerous cousins and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bret Romero, Cory Romero, Shane Romero, Colton Romero, Rod Langlinais, and Garrett Romero. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Romero, Grant Romero, and Brian Robbins.
