Born in Nederland, Texas, on March 21, 1947 he was the son of Raymond and Bessie Henderson. PeeWee was the life of the party with a very outgoing personality and a heart of gold. He always had a wild story to share from one of his many adventures he went on. PeeWee loved to take rides on his motorcycle, go fishing, and be in the company of friends and family with a cold beer in his hand. He was an amazing cook who loved to make sure you had the opportunity to get your belly full. If you stopped by on the weekends it was a guarantee that his pit would be fired up. He retired from Burton Shipyard after several devoted years as a supervisor, becoming the best house husband a woman could ask for. In his teen years he earned the label of a Real-Life Hero as he rescued a little girl from drowning.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Bessie Henderson; his sisters, Mary Henderson Scott and Joyce Henderson Jones; and his brother, Eugene Henderson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years and 10 months, Stacey L. Henderson; children Michelle Pauline Kuhn and husband Dwayne of Fannett, Raymond William Henderson and his late wife April of Orange, Shacail Lee Sonnier and husband Joshua of Orange; his grandchildren Trea Henderson and wife Tabitha, Kirstin Henderson, Payton Brown, Jaelyn Brown, Rachel Henderson, Shayleigh Gibbs aka Critter, Shelby Sonnier aka Homeless, Raycelee Sonnier aka Smiley; his great grandchildren Nolan, Kai Avery, Parker; his sisters Jackie Kemble and husband Joe, and Martha Tatum and husband Frank; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to the compassionate girls of Intrepid USA Hospice for their continued care and love displayed as well as Becky Greer and staff of Focused Care.
