1965 ∼ 2020

Raymond “Sam” Thomas Henry AKA Shorty, 55, of Orange, passed away on May 30, 2020, in Vidor.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home with a memorial gathering to be held at a later date.

Born in Orange, Texas, on March 10, 1965, he was the son of Kenneth Lawrence Henry and Clara Frances (Johnson) Breaux. Sam was a certified culinary chef & enjoyed cooking thoroughly. He took great pride in owning his dream car - a Mustang convertible and was an avid Trump supporter and advocator for his campaign. When you remember Sam, you are reminded of the big smile he always wore, his deep love for animals, and his friendly personality, always willing to talk to anyone who would listen. He was always quick to shake a Veterans’ hand and thank them for their courageous service. Sam was more than just a brother to his siblings; he was a dear friend and confidant to them, and they will lovingly remember him forever. He will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Henry and Clara Breaux.

He is survived by his siblings, Charlotte Wolfford and husband Eric of Mauriceville, Kenneth Lawrence Henry, Jr. of Spurger, Cherry Woodside of Vidor, Sherry Breaux of Bridge City, and Tony Henry of Vidor; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
