Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on February 18, 1949, she was the daughter of J B Gafford and Hida Williams Gafford. Becky was a vibrant soul who had a creative spirit and loving heart enriched in the lives of those around her. Becky was a hard worker and was extremely intelligent. She had several great jobs but her favorite ones were as the head clerk in charge of the Accounts Payable departments. She had a unique talent for crafting and hobbies as well as crocheting, gardening, and scrapbooking, where she preserved many memories of her family and friends. Additionally, her enthusiasm for working on the family tree was a testament to her deep appreciation for family heritage. Toledo Bend Lake held a special place in Becky's heart where she spent many joyful moments next to the water as well as swimming in it with family and friends. A devoted NASCAR fan, she never missed a race; her excitement during the events mirrored her enthusiastic personality. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Bridge City. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and love, and she embraced her role as a grandmother wholeheartedly, finding joy in the lives of her grandchildren and great nieces. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and creativity that will shine in the hearts that were fortunate enough to know her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, J B and Hilda Gafford.
