Richard Lee LeBlanc, 80, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away on May 14, 2025, at his home in Bridge City.

A memorial mass will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2025, at St Mary Catholic Church in Orange. Officiating will be Father Antony Paulose. Burial will follow at St Mary Catholic Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2025, at St Mary Catholic Church in Orange with a Rosary being said at 1:30 p.m.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on August 25, 1944 he was the son of Antoine Joseph LeBlanc and Lilly Marie Bernard LeBlanc. Richard served his country honorably in the United States Navy before embarking on a distinguished career in the petrochemical industry. For 38 dedicated years, he worked as an operations specialist at Chevron-Phillips, where his expertise and commitment were deeply valued. Richard graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Port Acres, setting the foundation for a life characterized by determination and hard work. His dedication extended beyond his professional life into his community and personal interests. A faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange, Richard's spiritual journey was important to him, and he actively participated in the life of his church. In his leisure time, Richard found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved to sit on his patio, embracing the tranquility of his surroundings. Music was another profound source of joy for him; he had a deep appreciation for Cajun music. Gardening and yard work were not merely chores to him but passions that allowed him to connect with nature and beautify his home. Additionally, Richard was an avid woodworker, crafting items with skill and care that reflected his creative spirit. Richard Lee LeBlanc is remembered for his warmth, integrity, and the love he shared with those around him. His legacy will continue to resonate in the hearts of family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Antoine and Lilly LeBlanc; his sister, Mary Jane Smith; and his brothers, Bernard LeBlanc, and David LeBlanc;

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 10 years, Sandy LeBlanc; his daughter, Deena Fulton and husband, Stuart, of Hathaway, Louisiana; the mother of his daughter, Sharon LeBlanc; his sisters, Susan Tierney, and Marie Guidry and husband, Earl; and numerous other close family members and dear friends.
