Rito Sanchez "PoPo" Flores, Sr.

Funeral services for Rito Sanchez “PoPo” Flores, Sr., 94, of Beaumont will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rito “PoPo” was born March 12, 1921 in Stamford, TX and passed away March 11, 2016 in Beaumont. He worked for Texas Gulf Sulphur Company in both New Gulf, TX and Beaumont where he retired after 32 years of service.

He is survived by 10 children and spouses, Lasaro and Lucy Flores; Frank and Martha Flores, Rito and Mary Flores Jr., Domingo and Oralia Flores, Jesse and Stella Flores, Clemente and Alba Flores, Reynaldo Flores, Sr., Margarita and Sam Garza, Nina and Domingo Torres, Gloria and Kenneth Gillis; 34 grandchildren; 89 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Valentina; daughter, Ernestina Flores; son, Adam Flores, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
