Obituary
Robert Trejo Alonzo, 46, of Port Arthur, passed away on September 21, 2020 in Houston.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 25, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 19, 1973, he was the son of Jaime Ernesto Alonzo and Maria De Jesus (Trejo) Alonzo. Robert worked as an insulator for STI for many years. He enjoyed tinkering with things and could always be found taking things apart just so he could put them back together again. Robert was a family man who enjoyed dancing with his wife and coming up with any excuse he could to have a cookout. Robert was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jaime and Maria Alonzo.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa (Campos) Cabrera; children, Cody Alonzo of Bridge City, Eduard Cabrera of Groves, Jenny Cabrera, Jasmine Cabrera both of Port Arthur, and Luis Cabrera of Beaumont; grandchild, Eduard Nicholae Cabrera; siblings, Dora Saucedo, Sonia Crumpler, Jaime Ernesto Alonzo, and Julie Galitz; as well as numerous other family and friends.
