Robert George Bloomer, Sr.
Robert George Bloomer, Sr., 67, of West Orange, passed away on May 3, 2021, in Port Arthur.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, May 7, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Oakland, California, on May 2, 1954, he was the son of William Eldon Bloomer and Eldona May (Beal) Bloomer Price. Robert was a mechanic and could fix anything. He was an electrician and a true jack of all trades. Robert loved to attend drag races and spend time with his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his whole world, and they loved him just as much as he loved them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Bloomer and Eldona Price; and son, William (Will) Bloomer.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Sue Bloomer; children, Robert (Bobby) Bloomer, Jr. and wife Heidi, Linda Bloomer and husband Ricky Cormier, Raymond Bloomer, Keith Bloomer and wife Christina, Woodrow (Woody) Bloomer, Lisa Burnett and husband Derek; and many special grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Such a wonderful man taken to soon. He took me in as his own daughter over 20 years ago. I can still hear his voice telling me " you're crazy baby, but I love you anyways".
