Robert Herbert Carter

Robert Herbert Carter passed away June 15, 2016. He had not been ill, he just missed the love of his life of 66 years, Betty Jo Watts Carter. Bob was born in Alexandria, Louisiana in 1928. Bob and Betty lived in Beaumont where he often worked three jobs at times to raise and provide for his family.
Bob had three children, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was also lucky enough to have a wonderful neighbor,Quoc Nguyen,who treated Bob like his father too. We always considered Bob to have 4 children with the blessings of Quoc.
Bob was proud to be a member of the Masonic Lodge. He graduated from South Park High School in Beaumont. Bob loved to hunt, fish and travel anywhere with Betty. They were lucky to have each other.
His ashes will be scattered along with Betty’s in the Texas hill country.
