Robert William Feeney, 92, of Beaumont, passed away on October 5, at his home in Beaumont.
Memorial services will be held later in Iowa.
Born in Juliet, Illinois, on October 1, 1929, Robert was the son of Robert Feeney and Nellie (Knapp) Feeney. He was a self-driven, Air Force man who, after his military service, went on to become a Long-Haul truck driver for the next 53 years before retiring. He was a member of four lodges, Masonic Lodge #1 in Burlington, Iowa, Masonic Lodge #235 in Winfield, Iowa, Scottish Rite, and Shriners. Robert loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by those that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nellie Feeney; his loving wife, Mary; and stepbrother, Cedric Knapp.
Robert is survived by his sons, Mark Feeney of Beaumont, Texas and Sean Feeney of Dundee, Florida; stepsons, Steve Nicholson and wife Ana Marie of Winter Haven, Florida, Tracy Nicholson and wife Traci of Winfield, Iowa, Clint Nicholson of Dundee, Florida, and Brett Nicholson of New Orleans, Louisiana; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; as well as two great-great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
