Robert Louis Judice
Robert Louis Judice, 80, of Broaddus, Texas, passed away on December 27, 2017, in Lufkin, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange with Pastor David Waggoner officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on September 1, 1937, he was the son of Vivian Judice and Tyrell (Bunch) Judice. He had a great sense of humor, was witty, clever, and loved telling stories. Robert enjoyed spending his spare time gardening, oil painting, wood carving, and being outdoors. He was an artist and loved drawing cartoons and reading comic strips. He enjoyed attending church and reading, especially his bible. Robert loved his family and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vivian and Tyrell Judice; wife, Joyce Ann Judice; son, Robert L. Judice, Jr.; and his grandson, Stephen Tomplait.
He is survived by his loving wife, Oda Hudgins Judice; daughters, Cindy Land and husband Bo and Suzanne Bell and husband Matt; step-sons, Mike Tomplait and Randy Tomplait and wife Pam; grandchildren, Heather and Joe Bateman, Josh Bland and Jessica Jolly, Morgan, Jaci, Maddy, and Conner Land, Sabra and Kierstin Johnson, Angie Tomplait, Alicia Jones, Ginger Matte, Cade Tomplait, and Cody Tomplait; and his 16 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Sammy Kirbow, Donny Carbough, A. W. King, Billy Resch, James Crump, and Josh Bland. Honorary pallbearer is Pat Carlin.
