Robert "Bobby" Lytle, 77, of Orange, died Friday, October 10, 2008, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 12, 2008, at the temporary location of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, located at 1408 W. Park Ave. Officiating will be Reverend Steven L. Leger of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Bridge city. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m.
Bobby was born March 5, 1931, in Wiergate, TX, to Robert Lee and Laura L. Smith Lytle. He served in the US Navy and had worked for Equitable Bag Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 25 years, Margaret and son Ronnie Lytle.
He is survived by his children, Judy Dolce and husband Chris of Austin, Randy Lytle and wife Vikki of Bridge City, John Wesley Lytle of Orangefield and Shannon Levasseur and husband Johnny of Bossier City, LA; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
