Robert “Robbie” Marshall Peveto, 60, of Newton, passed away on May 20, 2020, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Wilkinson Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange
Born in Orange, Texas, on March 15, 1960, he was the son of Marshall Peveto and Barbara (Hendrix) Peveto. Robbie enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time at Lake Toledo and the river. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and loved going to the casino. What he loved most of all was his family and he will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Peveto; and sister, Reta Peveto.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Peveto; children, Rachel Allen of Newton, Crystal Fuss and husband Toby of Orange; step-son, Terry Humble of Jasper; grandchildren, April Parker of Orange, Gabriel Guevara of Beaumont, Trinity Allen of Newton, Shyanne Fuss of Orange, Joey Fuss of Orange, Violet Humble, Travis Humble, Daria Jimenez, Charlotte Humble, and Aubrey Humble; siblings, David Cherry and wife Cheryl of Groves, Carl “Pod” Cherry and wife Ellen of Lumberton, Carolyn O’Quin of Mauriceville, Herbie Peveto and wife Angella of LaPorte, Cathy Beecher and husband Robert of Rochester, New York, Denise Carpenter and husband Kevin of Orange, and Tommy Peveto and wife Debbie of Mauriceville; along with close friends, Charlie Lamastus, Shane Davis, and Jeff “JW” Dalton; along with a large number of nieces and nephews whom he loved incredibly.
The family is accepting monetary donations to be made to the funeral home.
