Roger Dale Garner

Roger Dale Garner, 57, of Orange, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008, after a lengthy illness at Harbor Hospital in Orange.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Brother Jim Hardwick of First Christian Church of Orangefield will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Roger was born June 23, 1950 in Orange to Bert Wayne Garner and Johnnie Faye Henry Garner.
Roger enjoyed fishing and tinkering with old cars and old car parts.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Johnnie Faye Garner; grandparents, Ben and Liddie Henry and Alonzo and Opal Garner.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy Michelle Garner, son, Heath Brandon Garner and stepdaughter,
Katrina Selman, stepson, T.J. Guin; sister Johnnie Garner Jenkins; niece Kadence Ross, nephew, Kristopher Cornell; great niece, Randi Ross, and great nephew, Dylan Ross.
Serving as pallbearers Michael R. Cornell, Kristopher R. Cornell, Tobin Ross and Glyn D.Shiyou.
