Obituary
Roland Francis “Pookie” Sullivan, Sr., 84, of Orange, Texas, passed away on January 9, 2017, in Orange.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be Friday, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a Rosary at 6:30 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Roland was born in Orange, Texas, on December 12, 1932. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed collecting and restoring cars. He loved spending time with his dogs, Buckshot and Daisy and his cat, Sister.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh “Tubby” Foreman; grandson, David Grimes; and his granddaughters, Ashley and Rebekah Wallace.
He is survived by his mother, Cecile Foreman; children, Sheree Suire and husband Joey, Susan Grimes and husband Wayne, Roland Sullivan, Jr. and wife Penny, Scott Sullivan and wife Carla, and Kay Wallace and husband Jay; grandchildren, Diana and Danny Breeden, Bryan Suire, Rachel and Randy Hamerly, Melissa and Patrick McInerney, Jessica Sullivan, Gracie Staggs, Aleah Rae, Daniel Wallace, Aaron Wallace, and Aryan Price; great-grandchildren, Maggie Gilleland, Katy Hamerly, Abigail Breeden, and Elizabeth Breeden; 13 nieces and nephews; and his siblings, Jerry and Janet Foreman, Ann and Tommy Hoffpauir, Betty and Al Thibodeaux, Tom and Vickie Foreman, Steve and Jan Foreman, and Carol Courville.
Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Sullivan, Daniel Wallace, Aaron Wallace, Bryan Suire, Jerry Foreman, and Ricky McCauley. Honorary pallbearer is Patrick McInerney.
