Lenn was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Bridge City, Texas. He started working at Texaco and retired from Motiva in December 2014, after 45 years as a crane operator. He was a proud Dallas Cowboys fan, Cajun by heart and loved fast cars and hot rods. Whether you called him Lenn, Ron, T-Lenn, PawPaw, or Dad, you were always greeted with the best and most genuine smile. He loved spending time at the races, bowling, crawfish, talking about Louisiana, watching countless ballgames of his grandsons, a good western and spending time with those he loved. He was simply the best husband, dad, brother, son, grandfather, and friend there was.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lovelace and Anita (Lemaire) Leonard.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Deborah Mouton Leonard; children Chad McNiel and wife Christina of Galveston, Texas, Troy McNiel and wife Angie of Mauriceville, Texas, Chris Leonard and wife Cindy of Round Rock, Texas and Melissa Evans of Bridge City; grandchildren Kristal Hernandez and husband Joe, Garrett McNiel and wife Rachel, Logan McNiel and wife Jordyn, Colin Evans, Caden Evans, Kira McNiel, Randy Salazar and Danielle Salazar; great-grandchildren Gwen Lakyn McNiel and Levi Alan McNiel, Makaylah McCray, Raina Hernandez; best-friend, his puppy Bear; sister Judy Darby and husband Robert of Morgan City, Louisiana; brother-in-law, Todd Mouton and wife Janice of Port Neches, Texas; sister-in-law’s, Cindy Linder and husband David of Beaumont, Texas, Kim Trotter and husband Gary of Nashville, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews
