Ron "Uncle Ron" Bloodworth, 49, of Bridge City, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Friends are invited to a memorial gathering from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Ron was born November 4, 1960, in Fairbanks, Alaska. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. and had been a supervisor with RESCAR in Orange.
Survivors include his wife, Dee Wilson of Bridge City; mother, Gladys "Boots" Bloodworth of Bryan-College Station; father, Johnny Bloodworth of Corpus Christi; children, Junior Piazza of Bridge City, Laresa Rasberry of Orange, Quentin Bloodworth of Orangefield, Charles Ganze of Vidor, Jared Ganze and Hannah O'Grady, both of Bridge City.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, Sebastian Vaughn Rasberry and Bryan Rasberry, III; sisters, Cindy Broussard of Lafayette, Louisiana, Tammie Whitton of Austin and Zondra Wiley of Orangefield; and his best friend and motorcycle buddy, Chrystal Sterns.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory in Beaumont.
