Rosa Gonzalez Garza, 85, of Orange, Texas, passed away on January 24, 2026, at Memorial Hermann in Katy, Texas.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

Born in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, on July 12, 1940, she was the daughter of Celso Gonzalez and Eloisa Gonzalez. Gifted in cooking and baking, she created countless meals that became precious memories her loved ones will forever hold close. A private and humble soul, Rosa found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She especially enjoyed visiting casinos, where she loved spending time with her husband and children. Above all, Rosa’s greatest pride was her Christian faith, which guided her life and touched the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
