Rosa LeBlanc, 89, of Vidor, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2009, at the 5th Street location of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend David Hall of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor.
Burial will follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Born in Center, Texas on January 30, 1919, she was the daughter of Charles Henry and Phama Anderson Carlton.
Mrs. LeBlanc was a resident of Vidor for most of her life and she was a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Adam LeBlanc and her daughter, Billie Marie Loignon, Mrs. LeBlanc is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Betty Collum; sister, Marie Carlton Ellis, all of Vidor; seven grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
The family would like to recognize the many friends and staff members at Oakwood Manor who were like family.
