Rose Marie Clum, 73, died Saturday, October 6, 2007,
in Beaumont, Texas.
Marie grew up near Mayfield, Kansas. She worked
as a registered nurse for over 40 years, including at
St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Veterans
Administration Hospital in Topeka, and Chandler
Hospital in Chandler, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Roth
and Rose Bachura Roth; and son Timothy Clum. She is
survived by daughters Teresa and Michelle Clum of
Beaumont; Julie Castaneda of The Woodlands, Texas;
Christina Clum of San Francisco, California; their
father Gail Clum of Wakarusa, Kansas; grandchildren
Elijah and Athena Castaneda of The Woodlands, Texas;
and brothers Francis Roth of Los Angeles, California,
and Joseph Roth of Lenexa, Kansas.
Rose Marie was a strong woman and caring nurse who
lovingly and selflessly devoted herself to her family.
They will greatly miss her.
A rosary service will be said at 7 pm Sunday, October 14th at St. Joseph
Catholic Church in Conway Springs, KS. A funeral mass will be held at
10:30 am Monday, October 15th at St. Joseph's. Cemetery internment will
be at the Conway Springs Catholic cemetery.
After mass, flower arrangements will be donated to the
Conway Springs nursing home.
