We've known Rose through our daughter-in-law, Whitney and son, Jonathan and through the family of Steve Tarver, and we've grown to love her. She has a place of honor in our extended family. We have especially loved the Christmas cookies she sent to us every year! Our sympathy goes out to the whole family at this time as you celebrate her life.

Raymond & I have known Rose since our teens. After we married, we were members of Catholic Daughters & enjoyed so many years of fun & fellowship. Rose helped me with design while building our home. Rose came to my rescue many times with flowers but none more than when she helped me dress out tables at the Brown Center for Bailey’s LCM Honeybear Formal Luau Senior Banquet. Rose & I had so much fun working together & I was at awe at her talent as she created beautiful fresh flower table center pieces. She will be missed by many. RIP sweet friend. Jo & Raymond Gilbeaux

I remember when I was in high school. My boyfriend was taking me to Homecoming but lived out of town and was riding a bus in. He sent me money for a mum and I went to Aunt Rose. It was beautiful. I've always remembered that.

Rose Marie is my cousin, our Mothers were sisters. We used to have so much fun spending summers at each others house and riding the train from Lafayette to Orange She and I lately have enjoyed long phone calls laughing about things we did every holiday at family gatherings and of course discussing the cookies for St Josephs day. I will miss her so very much, she was always so sweet and kind. My prayers are with Donald, Stephen, Tammy, Bernard and Antoinette. I pray they will understand I am unable to attend due to surgery but my heart will be with all of you every minute. Your cousin, Shirley Gilbert Briggs
