Obituary
Rose Marie Shadle, 90, of Orange, passed away on July 28, 2020, at home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 7, at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange. Officiating will be Lynn Ashcraft.
Born in Fordyce, Arkansas, on March 2, 1930, she was the daughter of Harry Otis House and Melrose (Thompson) Hendrickson. Rose Marie was a stay at home mom who enjoyed cooking for her family. She took pride in always ensuring her house was in pristine condition and well decorated. Rose Marie was a faithful member of North Orange Baptist Church since 1989, where she sang in the choir and was the Music Librarian for many years. She was the light of her husband’s life and adored her family more than anything. Rose Marie left an impact on many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Shadle; and son, David Shadle.
She is survived by her daughter, Becky Smith and husband Jay “Bill” of Orange; grandchildren, Kristi Smith, Kevin Smith and wife Alyson; great grandchildren, Kelsey Smith, Kollin Smith, and Kaylea Smith.
