Rosemary O’Quinn, 90, of Tunas, Missouri, passed away on December 11, 2019, in Camdenton, Missouri.
Funeral services for Rosemary will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Claybar Kelley Watkins in Beaumont. Officiating will be Reverend Scott Loar of Fairview Baptist Church in Woodville, Texas. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Born in Ashdown, Arkansas, on August 21, 1929, she was the daughter of James A. McCuller and Maudie Malinda McCuller. Rosemary was an active member of her community, serving as the Mother Advisor for the Rainbows in Silsbee, former President and District President for the American Legion Post 333 in Beaumont, an involved member of the VFW Auxiliary, and 50-year member of the Eastern Star. She loved giving herself to charity, and helping out others in any way she could. Rosemary was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be missed dearly by all those she came into contact with.
She was preceded in death by her husband William H. O’Quinn; parents, James and Maudie McCuller; granddaughter, Jennifer Alice Dear; and sister, Virginia Franklin.
She is survived by her three daughters and one son, Mary Virginia Fullingim and Doug of Lake Fork, Texas, Patricia Dear of Tunas, Missouri, Malinda Patton and Stephen of Woodville, Texas, & John Dear and Retha of Jennings, Louisiana; stepchildren, Fran, Betty, and Dixie; brothers, James McCuller, and Frank McCuller; 11 grandchildren; along with numerous greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship Fund.
