Ruth Beard Anderson Schilling, 98, formerly of Beaumont, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in Houston, TX. A celebration of her life is scheduled for Friday, March 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. A gathering of friends and family will be held Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ruth was born August 19, 1913 in Wellington, TX and lived in Beaumont prior to moving closer to her family in Houston.
Surviving Ruth are her son, Bryan Anderson and his wife, Ann, of Spring, TX; grandchildren, Adrienne Graml and her husband Greg, of Austin, TX, Darrell Anderson and his wife Anna, of Pearland, TX, great-grandchildren, Sara, Owen and Rachel Anderson; brother, Louis Beard; sisters, Lucille Allardyce and Betty Sue Knight and many others who knew and loved her. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Woodrow W. Anderson and Harvey Schilling, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
