Scott Peters, 42, was born December 19, 1969 in Beaumont to his mother, Virginia Spraggins Peters and his father William Fred Peters and passed away September 20, 2012. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Sunday, September 23 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Scott Newell of Voth Baptist Church, Beaumont, TX. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 11:00 AM prior to the 1:00 PM service.
Scott enjoyed his profession as a chef, working with The Hamlet for many years.
Scott is survived by his mother, Virginia Avian Peters and his father, William Bill Peters and wife, Phyllis; sisters, Stacey Cepeda and husband Juan Jr., Kim Tipler, Victoria Wheeler and Wendy Eckert; his nephew Juan Cepeda III; aunt, Ann Dean; uncles, Gary and Jim Peters and cousins, Patti and Annette Merrill.
