Scott Overstreet

Jeffrey Scott Overstreet, 58, of Hull, Texas, passed away on May 13, 2024, in Baytown, Texas. 

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 20, 1965, he was the son of Harry Major and Mary Overstreet. He will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors and his incredibly playful personality. Scott was known for his strong character, enjoying a good joke, and spreading laughter wherever he went. His kind and loving nature made him not only a great provider but also a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. During his time with us, Scott touched the lives of many with his generosity and warm heart. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harry Major. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Doreen Overstreet, of Hull, Texas; his daughters, Selena Overstreet, of Bridge City, Texas, Trinity Overstreet, of Hull, Texas, Melissa Comeaux, of Orange, Texas, Christina Stafford , of Orange, Texas, and Tiffany; his stepsons, Cody Lewis, of Clearwater, Florida and Kyle Lewis, of Clearwater, Florida; his mother, Mary Overstreet, of Fort Myers, Florida; his brother, Ronald Overstreet, of Fort Myers, Florida; his grandchildren, Avery Comeaux, Korie Comeaux, and Lorelei Williamson.

Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.
