Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on July 26, 1973, she was the daughter of Curtis White and Shirley (Huse) White. Seena worked as a dispatcher for Time Warner Cable for several years and was a member of Little Cypress Baptist Church. To know Seena was to love her. She was a kind woman with a big heart, and she loved her family and church family dearly. Seena participated in the choir at church and loved to sing. Some of her favorite memories with her son, Drake, were of the two of them singing along to ‘80s music in the car. Seena’s friends and family never received a card from her that didn’t have glitter or confetti in it, and they lovingly referred to her as the “Glitter Queen.” She found joy in the little things in life like purple roses and cheering on her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Seena was a light to many and she will be deeply missed. All who knew and loved her can find peace knowing that Heaven in full of glitter now.
She was preceded in death by her dear son, Michael Drake Leger, and her parents, Curtis and Shirley White.
Those left to cherish Seena’s memory include her loving husband of 18 years, Ernest “Rod” Torres Rodriguez; her brothers, Chuck Green, Brian Green, and Lionel “Joe” Green; her sister, Sonja Andrea Hodges; and her fur baby, Toby.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Deshotel, Chuck Green, Brian Green, Lionel “Joe” Green, Ernesto Navarro, and Greg Denton. Honorary pallbearers are Al Farwell and Floyd Reeves.
