Sherry Renee Boutte, 61, of Vidor, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2020 at home with her husband by her side.
A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at Silver Oaks Baptist Church in Orange.
Born in Beaumont, Texas on February 8, 1959, she was the daughter of Theodore “Ted” Dubose and Lucy (Harrington) Dubose. Sherry graduated from Vidor High School in 1977. She was a faithful member of Silver Oaks Baptist Church and was very strong in her faith with the Lord. Sherry put all her trust in him and lived to spread his word through missionary work. She traveled overseas to spread his love and helped build churches for the communities in Nicaragua. Sherry adored her family above all and was “Nanaw” to her precious grandchildren. She was an influential woman in many lives and touched everyone’s heart she met. Sherry was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend to many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Paul Boutte; parents, Ted and Lucy Dubose; children, Kyle Smith and wife Angele of Lumberton, Kristin Hoerner and husband TJ of Mauriceville, Paul Boutte, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Sour Lake, Aaron Boutte and wife Shonta of Vidor, and Chariety Baumgarte and husband Fred of Little Cypress; grandchildren, Nathanial Boutte and wife Erica, Gill Smith and wife Marlie, Dalton Smith, Brooklyn Hoerner, Allison Hoerner, Cambry Ewing, Embry Ewing, Chrisopher Smith, Freya Baumgarte, and Jace Baumgarte; siblings, Pam Cloid and husband Teddy Joe, Teddy Dubose, and Robert Dubose; and numerous other family members.
Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
