Shirley Jo Ausherman
Shirley Jo Ausherman, 79, of Orange, Texas, passed away on July 6, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on July 29, 1944, she was the daughter of Columbus LeBlanc and Ola LeBlanc (Trahan). Shirley led a life filled with creativity and passion. Her hobbies included crafting, flower arrangements, sewing, and painting. She was also a member of Cove Church, contributing to her community in meaningful ways. She was a strong-willed individual who dedicated herself to her role as a mother and cherished the title of Granny to her grandchildren. Our hearts mourn the loss of Shirley Jo Ausherman but find comfort in the memories of a woman who touched the lives of many.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Lynn Bryan; parents, Columbus and Ola LeBlanc; husbands, James W. Bryan, Sr., and Louis Ausherman; as well as siblings Wilson John LeBlanc, Sidney Joseph LeBlanc, and Betty Joyce Milligan.
She is survived by her sons, Danny Joe Bryan and wife, Angie, and James "Jimmy" Bryan, Jr. and wife, Vickie; daughter, Cathy Roberts and husband, Allen; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other caring relatives and friends.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
