Shirley Ann Clowdis, 85, of Orange, passed away on December 2, 2020, at her home.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be James Scott. Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on August 20, 1935 she was the daughter of Hughlen Joseph Beadle and Alice Marie (Borel) Beadle. Shirley attended and graduated from Shenier Business College. She was a faithful member of Community Church in Orange. Shirley enjoyed sewing, shopping, and attending church with her loved ones. She was an incredible woman and will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hughlen and Alice Beadle; and siblings, Doris Meadows, Gloria Walls, and Hughlen Beadle.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Rudy Clowdis; children, Donna Richard DeLong and husband Keyth of Groves, Roxanne Richard Smith of Claremore, Oklahoma, Rhonda Clowdis Mirabella and husband Brian of Groves, and David Clowdis and wife Pam of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Aaron Welch, Alex Welch, Gina Welch, Chris Anderson, Barrett Smith, Corey Smith, Austin LaBorde, and Mason LaBorde; and great grandchildren, Alice Welch, Piper Welch, Ava Anderson, Quinn Smith, Sterling Smith, Eliana LaBorde, Asher LaBorde, Shoshanna LaBorde, and Josiah LaBorde.

Even though it’s been years since I have seen Shirley, I have such good memories of her and Rudy. They were such good friends to my parents and always so fun to be around. I know she will be greatly missed.
