July 2, 1945 — February 3, 2012
Sidney Lee "Doc" Fitch passed away February 3, 2012 at his home. Working as an independent contractor and home builder it was said, "there's nothing he couldn't do."
Serving in the United States Navy, Doc was a Navy Seal who served tours in Viet Nam from 1963-67. In spite of various and numerous injuries Doc kept right on going. That pretty much describes the rest of his life, "he kept on going".
Those left to remember him with smiles are friends who were really family; Russell & Linda Sanders, Paisley, Colby, Bailey, Cody Rusty, Scott Lout, Katie Tucker and all of his "family" friends at the Waffle House in Vidor.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a future date.
