Stella Tryer

Graveside services for Stella Frances Shepherd Tryer, 92, of Wichita Falls, TX will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville, Texas. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Mrs. Tryer was born August 1, 1919 in Doucette, TX and passed away on February 28, 2012 in Wichita Falls, TX. A resident of Wichita Falls since 2008, she was a former longtime resident of Beaumont. She was retired from Sun Oil Company and a life-long member of First Baptist Church of Beaumont. She was active in Pilot Club for over 60 years and loved being a top seller of pecans and cakes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Tryer; father, Kirby Christopher Shepherd and mother, John William Billie Clemmons Shepherd.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas E. and Valry Blieden Tryer of Wichita Falls; grandsons, Robert Clemmons Tryer and wife, Moss, of Albuquerque, Jonathan William Tryer and wife, Jennifer, of Wichita Falls; great-grandsons; Eben Adrian Tryer, Boden Jones Tryer, Cooper Vaughn Tryer and Tucker NicholasTryer.
