Born in Orange, Texas, on January 22, 1952, he was the son of James Harold Bull and Jimmy Jacqueline (McKinney) Bull. Stephen was a proud graduate of the Little Cypress High School class of 1970. He loved his high school days with friends and playing on the football team. Stephen spent 38 loyal years as an electrician for DuPont before retiring. He was a long-time member of North Orange Baptist Church. Stephen was known to many as “Coach Bull” as he coached many of the sports played by his children while they were growing up and even went on to become a referee for U.I.L. soccer and football for many years. He was quite the animal lover, especially dogs, and competed in Dog Agility competitions across Texas and Louisiana for over ten years. Stephen was a wonderful husband, father, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Jimmy Bull, his son, Stephen “Bubba” Bull, Jr. and his favorite Australian Shepherd, Colt.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Debbie Bull: his son, Jason Bull of Orange: his daughter, Jaclynn Wallace and husband Kevin of Orange; his grandchildren Taylor Bull, Jordin Bull, McKinley Wallace, and Jack Wallace; his brother James Harold Bull, Jr. and wife Ramona; his Sister-in-law Jerri Hastings and husband Mark; and his nephew and nieces, David Hastings, Misti Brezina, Kristi Johanson, and Laura DeJesus.

I am heartbroken for Debbie and the Bull Family. Stephen was the “Face” of the LC Class of 1970. I am thankful that Stephen was so generous with his time and efforts to keep his classmates informed of special events. You could feel his positive energy and hear his laughter when he walked into a room. Take peace and comfort knowing that Stephen has graduated to his heavenly home and is reunited with family and friends. I am disappointed that I am unable to attend his services. I will continue to pray for the Bull Family.Keith and Missy (Roberts) WallLC Class 1970

When I heard of Stephen’s death, I was shocked. He was one of only 5 cousins I had, and we were the same age. All I could think about Stephen was how much he loved his family. He was a proud father and grandfather. Although I live out of town, I will miss him a great deal. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I’m praying for Debbie and his entire family. May we remember the way he celebrated life in the coming days ahead. Much love, Paula Thomas.
