Steve James Bland, 67, of Bridge City, passed away on October 2, 2016, in Beaumont, Texas.
Born in Orange, Texas, on June 12, 1949, he was the son of Sherman Joseph Bland and Dorothy Lee Foreman Bland. Steven loved football, wrestling, and karaoke. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Beverly Jo Gary and Kathy Duckworth.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Bland, of Bridge City; grandchildren, Baylie Ferguson and Kaylie McCray; sisters, Irene Bland, Dorothy Bland, and Melissa Bland, all of Bridge City; brothers, Gerald Bland, of Bridge City, Glenn Bland and wife Kathleen, of Bridge City, Michael Bland and wife Jamie, of West Orange, and Ronnie Bland and wife Andrea, of Mauriceville; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends, family, and his karaoke friends.
Services are pending through Claybar Funeral Home.
