Sue Hollyfield, 91, of Orange, Texas, passed away on January 5, 2021, in Woodville, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Damon Bickham of First Baptist Church of Deweyville.
Born on January 17, 1929, she was the daughter of Will Berry and Annie Mae Berry. Sue worked as a certified nursing assistant for many years. She was a kind woman who found joy in being a grandma. Sue also enjoyed cooking, spending time outdoors, and being with her cats that she loved dearly, Cheddar, Princess, and Pookie. Sue will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Annie Mae Berry; her daughter, Charlotte Anthony; and Homer Sargent.
She survived by her daughters, Shirley Pillsbury and Michael Williams of Bridge City, and Karen Smith of Brookland; her grandchildren, Freddy Pillsbury, Angela Pillsbury, Wendy Doyle, and Stormy Apadaca; her great-grandchildren, Skylar, Daniel, Kayla, Madison, Jaycie, Homer Isaac, and Anna; as well as several siblings, nieces, and nephews.
